How To Dress For Radiotherapy
During radiotherapy treatments, it's important to avoid underwire bras, jewellery, and products like deodorant, lotions, or powders on the skin around the treatment area.
It's helpful to wear clothing that allows easy dressing and access to the chest area. Seamless, soft clothing will be more comfortable on sensitive treated skin.

The velcro openings make wound checks easy without needing to fully undress, and drain pockets can be easily attached.
The bra can be cut on either side to fit a catheter for brachytherapy or seed radiation treatments.

Some women like to wear a soft breast prosthesis whilst they are having radiotherapy. Our treatment bras include pockets for this purpose.
The Amoena Priform or the Anita Trifirst are perfect for this. The Anita Equilight is also a great choice, as the textured fabric helps hold it in place inside your bra even if it is a non-pocketed bra.
These can be adjusted (by adding or removing stuffing) to fit your cup size.
