My mastectomy was 10 years ago, but I struggled along wearing prostheses in ordinary bras because the mastectomy bras were so expensive. I finally made the decision to buy myself three mastectomy bras. The difference is incredible! No more ugly, uncomfortable sports bras, having the prosthesis stick to my skin, having it move out of position, etc. If you've been hesitating - don't. They are really worth the expense. Go for it!
