Choosing a Breast Shaper

Breast Shapers

After lumpectomy, you may be left with uneven breast size or shape, especially if a large part of your breast had to be removed.

Once you have finished healing (at least 6 to 8 weeks), you can use a breast shaper (also known as a partial breast form) to even things out. These sit inside your bra, against the skin.

The type of shaper you need depends on the shape of your breast.

An all-over partial shaper adds volume over the whole breast, to even out size. This is like adding padding to fill out your bra cup, but in a very natural looking and comfortable way.

Other shapers are designed to fill in a cavity or hole left in the breast.
